WE AIM TO MOBILIZE INDIVIDUALS AND THE PRIVATE SECTOR TO SUPPORT THE COUNTRY
Faz3et Shabab is a makeshift grassroots campaign that emerged spontaneously in response to the Coronavirus crisis in Jordan. As young Jordanians living in the country and abroad, we believe it is our responsibility to support Jordan’s most vulnerable individuals and industries through various charities as well as our own initiatives.
We also shared a common concern regarding direct cash support to the public sector and instead wanted donate supplies directly to frontline workers and those who need it. That feeling of responsibility and concern was also shared by many of our close friends and family in Jordan and abroad. And so we decided to launch "Faz3et Shabab" to reach all those who wanted to help the community and the country.
To date we have raised over 200,000 JOD from individuals and the private sector and channeled the funds to various initiatives in the healthcare, education, youth empowerment, income relief, agriculture and farming sectors across Jordan.
We continue to support different initiatives and our efforts now focus on more long-term channels and community development.
Transparency matters for every charitable donor. It is our obligation to follow good governance and best ethical practices in all our campaigns.
We have set out a set of policies that we abide by and are accountable to:
We take no admin fees: All donations go directly towards the different campaigns that we support. The team does not take any fee or percentage of the donations received.
Invoice and Proof of Funding Reports: All invoices and proof of funding are published for every campaign that we undertake and is made public for anyone to access.
Audited financials prepared by independent accountant: Audited financial statements provide important information about financial accountability and accuracy. They are prepared by an independent third-party accountant and published online.
Key staff listed: It is important for donors and other stakeholders to know who runs the organization day-to-day.
